Jugnu is a Senior Medical Leader in Health Care, and comes with over 10 years of experience as Medical Director and serving on Executive Boards in the UK and abroad.
Her journey in medicine started in India, where she trained as a Paediatrician before coming to the UK in 1988. After further training in the UK, she became Consultant in Paediatrics and Child Health in Rotherham Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
She has been a Royal College Tutor, and an examiner for MRCPCH. She is an Associate Fellow of the Faculty of Medical Leafdership and Management, UK.

In 2020-21, as Medical Director with DXC Healthcare and Life Sciences, Jugnu led digital transformation programme for Apollo Hospitals in India. She saw successful implementation of digital transformation for outpatients services in 67 facilities of Apollo Hospitals. She provided strategic clinical engagement and Digital-Clinical Interface alongside advising on Process Design, Configuration, Governance of Change, New Ways of Working and Adoption of Changes.
Jugnu underpins these developments by Collaborative Leadership at Systems level.

Jugnu is skilled in Leadership Development, Coaching, Mentoring, Supporting Doctors through difficult times, Clinical Service Transformation, maintaining High Professional Standards, and Appraisals and Revalidation of doctors.
Jugnu is passionate about developing Leaders in Health Care. She provides individualised coaching and mentorship to Doctors, Nurses and Executive Directors to facilitate their transition from clinical roles to senior leadership roles. She also provides small group facilitation and runs bespoke workshops.
By utilizing her extensive experience in doctors’ appraisals and revalidation, Jugnu offers her expertise in appraising individual doctors, and also setting up governance framework at organisational level. She also provides one-to-one support and counselling to doctors going through difficult times.
For health care organisations, Jugnu offers independent advise and support for Clinical Service Transformation and maintaining High Professional Standards.
