About Jugnu 

Jugnu is a Senior Medical Leader in Health Care, and comes with nearly 10 years of experience as Medical Director and serving on Executive Boards. 
 
Her journey in medicine started in India, where she trained as a Paediatrician before coming to the UK in 1988. After further training in the UK, she became Consultant in Paediatrics and Child Health in Rotherham Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.  
 
She has been a Royal College Tutor, and an examiner for MRCPCH. She also served as Clinical Director before progressing to senior leadership positions.

She has served as Medical Director in Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Department of Health and Social Care in Isle of Man, and Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust (interim post). 
 
In her career so far, Jugnu has held a number of important regional and national portfolios. Currently, she is an Associate of Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management 

Services 

Jugnu is skilled in Leadership Development, Coaching, Mentoring, Supporting Doctors through difficult times, Clinical Service Transformation, maintaining High Professional Standards, and Appraisals and Revalidation of doctors. 
 
Jugnu is passionate about developing Leaders in Health Care. She provides individualised coaching and mentorship to Doctors, Nurses and Executive Directors to facilitate their transition from clinical roles to senior leadership roles. She also provides small group facilitation and runs bespoke workshops. 
By utilizing her extensive experience in doctors’ appraisals and revalidation, Jugnu offers her expertise in appraising individual doctors, and also setting up governance framework at organisational level. She also provides one-to-one support and counselling to doctors going through difficult times. 
 
For health care organisations, Jugnu offers independent advise and support for Clinical Service Transformation and maintaining High Professional Standards.
